From Lana M.

Milestone Two has come a long way in terms of subscribers, readers, Tech Delivery Network, associated groups and field auditors  — and we now have an exact strategic program for moving ahead.

It is simple and something that every single person can be part of and can contribute to.

This strategy also clearly communicates what sets Milestone Two apart from the Corporate Church.

The strategy is:  Do something for somebody.

If you are an auditor — take a person in session, and so something for them with Scientology. An assist, Book One, Life Repair, Straightwire, Grades, etc.

If you are a supervisor or word clearer – help someone with TRs, with study or with a course or to resolve a subject they are having trouble with. Students, teachers, children, work associates, anyone who is having trouble in an area or with a subject.

If you have little Scientology technical training  – do something for someone with one of the multitude of tools that LRH has given us (two way communication, ARC, study tech, 3rd party law, overts/withholds, conditions, LRH Management technology, etc.).

Every day we encounter people who have problems, troubles, worries or things they are effect of. Using basic technology from LRH books, give them a hand and help them to resolve that situation.

No matter who you are, whether you are a Classed auditor or not, you can do something to help someone with Scientology. A family member, a friend, a neighbour, a work colleague.

If every person connected to, affiliated to, and working with Milestone Two worked to do something for somebody EACH WEEK, we will grow.  Our own compassion and love for those around us, plus the tools that we have to improve their lot, is what make us different.

To be frank — we give a shit.

It is not about whether someone becomes a “Scientologist”, it is not about getting someone onto the Grade Chart and moving up The Bridge (that occurs when people, who received help, cognite, for themselves, and come to a need of change).

It is about getting into two-way communication with another person, and then using LRH’s Scientology technology to assist them in some way.

This is the Milestone Two strategy moving forward.

Be part of it.

“In order to do something for somebody you have to have a communication line to that person.

“Communication lines depend upon reality and communication and affinity and where an individual is too demanding the affinity tends to break down slightly.

“Processing goes in two stages.

“1. To get into communication with that which you are trying to process.

“2. Do something for him.”

  1. Well, can’t say much more than that! Beautifully stated and a freakin’ fantastic strategy! Reminds me of that HCOB “By Their Actions…”:

“By their actions you shall know them, whether bad or good, whether on another side or ours.

And what in their actions gives us the keenest insight? Their ability to help.

Some think that help cannot be done. Shun them. Some think that help is always an effort to betray. Process them for here you have the criminals of Earth.

Some people cannot help. They can only injure and destroy. And if in the name of help they only injure and destroy then know them carefully for they are criminals.

Think heavily on this point. Judge men from what they think of help. Judge women too and find the good ones from the bad.

The good can help. The bad will not or if they do, they “help” only to betray.

The good of Earth comes from above the point of make and break where help is help and honestly. The pain of Earth comes from the tones where help does not exist or where it’s used to pull us into agony.

Know your friends. It’s strange that those who argue with us against our goals and Scientology cannot conceive of honest help. Discuss help with them and you’ll find their tone and whether they are worth a lot as friends.

This is the test that you can use to separate the good from bad and then clear-eyed begin to make a world in which all life can live.

Good going, Lana (and MS2 crew).

  2. For those with little tech training: I found that Ruth Minshull’s books are a good tool for new people. With her compassion, humor, and approachable language one can feel that she’s having fun and success with Scientology and that’s addictive. They’re also a source of inspiration on how to explain (and demonstrate) Scientology to new people.

  3. What?

No begging for Ideal Orgs, WTH, Library Projects etc, etc.

No feel good donations for that special 501ciii tax break.

No endless Squirrel Cage of doing actions that one has done already ’cause some High School drop out with an IQ less than his shoe size says that he “discovered” some “lost tech” somewhere that allegedly had been hidden from all of us including Ron?

    What’s up with that? 😉

  4. Simple. At first I was surprised to then discover that it was that exact strategy I was using when I found myself alone outside the Church and no Indies group I was even aware of. This is a strategy you can use anywhere even in the jungle of Amazonia. Assists would do wonders. Running a traumatic incident, it does wonder. And you know what? Even if you fail you never really fail. It is a “nothing to lose” proposition. Only wins. I got sometimes surprising miracles like a guy completely crooked with a very bad back pain (he was stuck 90° angle). I did a 15 mn touch assist on a bench in the street, always on the basis “let’s see, may be this can help you”. And the guy blows the somatic and stand up straight. He and his friend were staring at me in owe! It is of course not always miraculous but most of the time you get a relief. Same with Book One or Self Analysis or even Handbook for Preclear. Really good stuff.
Just do it for fun and just DARE to do it. It is much much fun.

So anyway Lana I translated the strategy article in french and published it on my blog “le dianeticien”.

And thanks to all of you to be there and communicate.

    • Exactly, Joseph. It is a ‘nothing to lose’ proposition. Well said.
And it’s also true that it doesn’t have to be miraculous every time, for that would put a burden on us, too.

      • Thanks Poet. You are absolutely right. The whole point is to continue to “do something for someone” with the tech. It’s like an artiste painting life, a better life. Sometimes no visible result, sometimes it’s a mild result and sometimes it is a great success. Nothing to lose anyway. I taught my wife how to to Touch Assists. she was totally green. Well, she did wonders on me AND on a neighbour who called her “my doctor”.
        A very good strategy indeed.

  5. We were discussing this article on Joseph’s blog and he insisted I translate my comment to put it here.

Let’s say this is the continuation of the previous one…

The beauty of a phoenix from the ashes.

With this clever article, Lana M. fused a block of ore made of miscellaneous dreams and activities to turn it into a pure gold nugget.
