“There is only one thing that could happen to Scientology, and that is to say that it would be buried. The remedy would be buried. If it ever went out of sight, this world’s done. All you’ve got to do is invalidate it and put it out of sight and hide it, and it’ll come up in the wrong place doing the wrong thing, and mankind will find itself a slave.

“So anybody that knows the remedy of this subject, anybody that knows these techniques, is himself actually under a certain responsibility – that’s to make sure that he doesn’t remain a sole proprietor. That’s all it takes, just don’t remain a sole proprietor. Don’t ever think that a monopoly of this subject is a safe thing to have. It’s not safe. It’s not safe for man; it’s not safe for this universe.

“This universe has long been looking for new ways to make slaves. Well, we’ve got some new ways to make slaves here. Let’s see that none are made.”

  1. Luckily we are here, making sure there is no “sole proprietor” and that the Tech is used to free Man, not enslave.
But hasn’t anyone in the Church ever read this quote? don’t they understand what it says? The agreement of the church members to become slaves still amazes me.
I am grateful to all those, around the world, who keep Scientology working, who keep it free of any monopoly, who use it to help their fellow Man.

  2. Nice post. It doesn’t matter if the people in it have read this or not. People are going to believe what they want to believe. Imagine, Dani, a subject that deals with freeing people has turned into a subject that enslaves people. And yes, we are all lucky to have you and your stalwart staff making a powerful anchor point in the middle east for true Scientology. It almost makes sense that Israel would spawn a truly free Scientology.
Thank you for being there Dani.

    • Thank you, Tom. I have recently finished reading your brilliant book, “My God is Bigger Than Yours” and it does provide an insight into the insanity a religion can go into.
We are doing our job in this part of the Planet and there’s many more all around preserving the Tech and undoing DM’s madness.

      • Never forget that “religion” is an endword. If you look at what has occurred and is occurring in the name of it, it certainly looks highly charged.

        • And add to that all the restim available because of the 4th Dynamic engram, handled on the upper levels. It’s a wonder we’re still around!

And speaking of books, I read James Michener’s The Source, when I was quite young. I found it a fascinating account of the evolution of religion. A good complement to Tom’s book for sure.

          • One of my all-time favorite books, Chris.
It gave me a good understanding of the three major Western religions. From the understandings gained in this book I have been able to see clearly that the conflicts that have been going on in the Middle East are not about religion. They are about suppressive politicians twisting religious principles to forward their evil intentions towards others and their lust for wealth and power. Wait! Who did I just describe?

  3. One of the better quotes and datum, for sure. Here’s another that could be considered complementary, or a corollary to the above:

“He’ll only walk out of this universe if you permit him to recover enough force so that he can have responsibility for what’s going on.

There isn’t any hidden gimmick; there isn’t anything else he has to think; there isn’t anything he has to believe in, really, to amount to anything to go this way. And you can boot him up this line quite artificially, but what you’re really doing is taking him and putting these boots on him. He has to be fitted with these boots and these boots are called Responsibility.

He’s gotta be able to take responsibility for all enforcement, and all desire way up the line, and all space before he’ll walk any place.

So we’ve got that scale going back and forth, and up and down and we find out that there is a bigness which has to grow in the person. And if you don’t see that bigness growing, he’s not on his way out.

And the difference between the preclear that has to be chained down to have the boots put on him and me is, is I never wanted to be a slave and I never had to be. That’s all. I never agreed.” LRH (from the lecture “The DEI Scale”, PDC 35)

    • I loved the quote, it gets me thinking, the perspective I have been using the past few billions of years might not be all there is out there.. lol
      Thank you!

  4. One of my most favourite LRH quotes:

” I never wanted to be a slave and I never had to be. That’s all. I never agreed.” LRH

I think this concept is the cornerstone of every decent thing that man has ever done or achieved. And if the West was ever free it was because of men believing this, and if places like Somalia are not, its because someone over there hasnt made this their concept to live or die by. Simple!

  5. Wonderful dialogue here. And it just may hit on the very core of what is happening right now with those still forwarding the DM line and those who have broken out.

The degree one is “willing” to be – willing to agree to be under DM’s rule then so it will be for that person. Unwilling to be that slave and it’s all over – they are or will find their way free.

I salute the outlaw, the renegade lover of freedom.

    • Since we’re on the topic of Miscavige among others here’s the original unedited of what Ron says further on I believe:

“It’s a very simple remedy. And that’s-just make sure that the remedy is passed along. That’s all.Don’t horde it, don’t hold it; and if you ever do use any Black Dianetics, use it on the guy who pulled Scientology out of sight and made it so it wasn’t available. Because he’s the boy who would be electing himself “The New Order.” And we don’t need any more new orders. All those orders, as far as I am concerned, have been filled.”
