q2

By LRH

  1. The manifestations of pleasure and pain, of thought, emotion and effort, of thinking, of sensation, of affinity, reality, communication, of behavior and being are thus derived and the riddles of our universe are apparently contained and answered herein. There IS beingness, but Man believes there is only becomingness.
  2. The resolution of any problem posed hereby is the establishment of viewpoints and dimension points. the betterment of condition and concourse amongst dimension points, and, thereby, viewpoints, and the remedy of abundance or scarcity in all things, pleasant or ugly, by the rehabilitation of the ability of the viewpoint to assume points of view and create and uncreate, neglect, start, change and stop dimension points of any kind at the determinism of the viewpoint. Certainty in all three universes must be regained, for certainty, not data, is knowledge.
  3. In the opinion of the viewpoint, any beingness, anything, is better than nothing, any effect is better than no effect, any universe better than no universe, any particle better than no particle, but the particle of admiration is best of all.
  4. And above these things there might be speculation only. And below these things there is the playing of the game. But these things which are written here Man can experience and know. And some may care to teach these things and some may care to use them to assist those in distress and some may desire to employ them to make individuals and organizations more able and so give to Earth a culture of which we can be proud.

Humbly tendered as a gift to Man by L. Ron Hubbard, April 23, 1953

  1. 27a. Corollary:

The ability to and ease with which a viewpoint may assume points of view and create and uncreate, neglect, start, change and stop dimension points of any kind at the determinism of the viewpoint determines the degree to which the viewpoint has achieved OT.

    27b. Corollary:

“OT” might thus be defined as a viewpoint which has recovered its original state.

    • Disclaimer:

For clarification, my corollaries above are not LRH. They are strictly two assertions I’ve made based on reasoning out Factor 27 and the others. If you like them and agree with them, you may use them in your travels. You needn’t give me credit; wisdom belongs to everyone. But please remember that they are not statements made by LRH and should never be made part of the study of Scientology. I am not Source.

      Paul

      • Correction (if I may):

You are not Source of Scientology and Dianetics, but you are Source. We are ALL Source. That’s the point. πŸ˜‰

        • CB:

Oh yeah, I’m Source for all kinds of stuff. In fact, if we weren’t all individual Sources, we’d never be able to get any case gain or crawl out of the grime.

But as you say, and as I meant, I’m not Source for Scientology.

          Paul

  2. “In the opinion of the viewpoint, any beingness, anything, is better than nothing, any effect is better than no effect, any universe better than no universe”

How often do we see this in human behaviour, when the thing to do is to get rid of the dead wood, create a vacuum, and name want and get.

Sorry to hear you are not Source Paul, I was beginning to wonder πŸ™‚

  3. Paul Foster is a likable character.

Now allow me to share a Success Story.

I recently communicated with Chris Black. Not only did he appear to understand my communication, but I felt as though I had fully duplicated and understood his communication.

Would I want others to experience a win from being understood by while also understanding Chris Black? Yes!

Here’s my cognition: A mutual exchange of noise is not two-way communication. A mutual exchange of understanding is two-way communication!

      Bingo! πŸ™‚
